Bbq sauce is one of my favorite condiments and great on just about anything, but it is often full of sugar and just not that great for you. So here is my rendition that has no added sugar and is delicious on anything from meatballs to a pulled chicken sandwich.
Ingredients
·1 cup golden raisins
·1 teaspoon ground turmeric
·1 small onion
·3 pc crushed garlic
·½ cup apple cider vinegar
·1 tablespoon soy sauce
·1 tablespoon Worcestershire
·¼ teaspoon crushed red pepper
·1 teaspoon black pepper
·½ cup water
·2 tablespoons olive oil
Step 1
Combine all bbq seasoning into pot and cover with lid. Simmer for 30 minutes then transfer to blender and puree until smooth.
